Meet Dr. Emily
Fertility & Women's Health Naturopathic Doctor
I help women better understand their hormones, fertility, and reproductive health so they can feel more informed about their bodies and confident about what comes next.
Hi, I’m Dr. Emily
Naturopathic Doctor, fertility-focused practitioner, and founder of Bluebell Natural Medicine.
I believe women's healthcare should leave you feeling more informed, supported, and confident—not more overwhelmed.
Over the years of supporting women in my private practice, I’ve seen just how frustrating it can be when you know something doesn't feel quite right, but you're still searching for answers.
There are symptoms to decipher, tests to understand, supplements to consider, and an endless amount of information telling you what you should be doing.
My role is to help you make sense of it all.
I focus on fertility and women's hormonal and reproductive health, using an evidence-informed, integrative approach to help women better understand what's happening in their bodies, identify what deserves attention, and feel confident about their next steps.
A more personalized approach to fertility care
Fertility is a special focus of my practice, and I don't believe fertility care should be one-size-fits-all. I want to understand your whole fertility story: your menstrual cycle, health history, testing, nutrition and lifestyle, emotional wellbeing, and where you are at in your fertility journey.
From there, we can identify what deserves our attention and create a plan that makes sense for you.
This philosophy ultimately led me to create The Bluebell Fertility Method—my personalized approach to helping women move from fertility confusion and overwhelm toward greater clarity, support, and confidence in their next steps.
My approach may incorporate comprehensive assessment and testing, clinical nutrition, lifestyle medicine, fertility acupuncture, targeted supplementation, fertility awareness, and mind-body support. I also strongly value collaborative care and believe naturopathic and conventional fertility medicine can work beautifully alongside one another.
Whether you’re just beginning to think about pregnancy, have been trying for some time, or are navigating IUI or IVF, my goal is for you to feel like you have someone in your corner who sees the bigger picture.
Your reproductive health matters beyond fertility, too.
Not every woman who comes to see me is trying to get pregnant.
I also work with women navigating PCOS/PMOS, endometriosis, painful or heavy periods, hormonal concerns, and perimenopause.
Because whether pregnancy is part of your plans now, someday, or not at all, you deserve to understand what's happening in your body and feel confident about the decisions you're making for your health.
My background
Before becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Biology in Halifax, Nova Scotia, followed by my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Continuing education is an important part of my practice, and I continue to pursue additional training in fertility, reproductive and hormonal health, endocrinology, and other areas relevant to the patients I support.
Beyond the clinic
When I’m not talking about hormones, fertility, or what your cycle might be trying to tell you, you’ll usually find me at home with my fiancé and our two rescue cats, wandering through a local farmers’ market, curled up with a book at the beach, or decorating our cozy acreage home in Bayfield.
I love that Bluebell Natural Medicine allows me to bring together the things that matter most to me: thoughtful healthcare, meaningful connection, and helping women feel more confident in understanding their bodies.
I’m so glad you’re here.
Dr. Emily
